Three haunted attractions (Project 13, Terror Behind the Screen and Freakshow 3-D) in one location: Scaregrounds!

With three haunts in one location spanning 25,000 square feet, this is the largest haunted house complex in Eastern Washington. It is located at the Benton Franklin Fairgrounds on Kennewick’s east side. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk through one of the houses. We will be having you move down hallways and creepy alleyways into tight rooms and smoke-filled spaces plus other areas even we’re scared to spend much time in. If you go through too quickly and want to return, same-night re-entry is possible with VIP tickets (that include special VIP Que Line access at each haunt to go to the front of the line).

Terror Behind the Scream:
You’ll visit a home – a comfortable suburban home like so many others. In it live a mom, dad, young boy and infant girl. They’re just like any other family, except for the red door in the attic. You’ll soon discover something is wrong with the boy… and the dad. The red door allows in unwanted guests – who you’ll meet. The family has friends trying to help solve the mystery: strange sounds coming from the nursery, eerie drawings in the boy’s room, and visions of a demon and an old woman. Will you be able to make it through the home, alive, without being followed? Be ready for our actors to grab you and our toys to jump out of you. Just try not to get dragged into The Further by the demon!

Project 13:
During World War II our troops captured many of Hitler’s doctors and scientists and offered them refuge if they shared with us their knowledge and skills. This aided in the development of our atom bomb at Hanford. During this time a small team of these doctors had a plan of their own to uphold their pledges to Hitler. They built a secret lab at Hanford with a plan to develop a toxin to inject in insects, pets and humans. They would die, but then reawaken as the undead with an uncontrollable hunger to kill and eat whatever living thing did not have the anti-toxin within its veins. When the government discovered “Project 13” they raided the labs and shut it down. They found the doctors were performing the most disgusting and inhumane experiments creating monsters with a taste for human flesh. Everything discovered was put into storage. Now that Project 13 has been declassified, you are welcome to come take a tour. But beware, it is unclear what happened to the doctors; it is possible they escaped arrest and continued their work.

The carnival is in town! Blinking lights, twirling rides, and plenty of laughs… FOR US! Our clowns aren’t the happy kind. You’ll get a scream out of our sideshow attractions, twisted food vendors, demented performers and disgusting clowns – ALL IN 3D. You’ll want to tell everyone about our haunted amusement park… if you can find your way out of the cotton candy room. Come play with us for the most unique haunted attraction the Northwest. What other haunted house – not the actors, the actual house – jumps out at you around every corner?! 3D glasses provided. Email Haunt Owner
