Sammamish, Wash. - Sept. 26, 2018 - Nightmare at Beaver Lake is an indoor/outdoor Halloween Haunted House experience that has been scaring the daylights out of folks for the past 13 years.  This all-volunteer for charity event is a fundraiser of the Rotary Club of Sammamish.  Each year over 12,000 people wander the haunted trails of Beaver Lake Park in Sammamish during the last half of October experiencing ghosts, ghouls, zombies, vampires, scary clowns, headless horsemen and more!

It takes over 300 volunteers to produce the 11-night run of the Nightmare with approximately 150 working each night.  Most of the actors are local Middle and High School students.  Creative talent is provided by Scare Productions, a local nonprofit that has been scaring people and raising money for charity for over 30 years.

Founded in 2003, the Rotary Club of Sammamish counts approximately 40 business, civic and community leaders among its members.  The Nightmare is the clubs most visible community activity but the club is involved in many other community and international service projects.  The money raised at the Nightmare supports local charities that help families and individuals in need, funds college scholarships for graduating seniors at the three Sammamish high schools, helps fund community building projects in Nicaragua and Africa, and supports the international effort to eradicate Polio.

Nightmare at Beaver Lake – the Seattle area's largest indoor/outdoor haunted adventure. Fear follows as you wind through a trail of terror nearly a mile long through the woods of Beaver Lake Park that leads you to a dreadfully haunted fun house…Do You Dare?

The Nightmare is produced by the Rotary Club of Sammamish in association with the City of Sammamish and Scare Productions. This 100% volunteer event raises money for youth scholarships and grants to local and international nonprofit organizations. Tickets purchases here.
