I went to the Bayview cemetery with my dad and my friend to see if the legend of the Death Bed and Angel Eyes were true. We went during the day so we weren’t able to see Angel Eyes. But the Death Bed certainly had a spooky vibe.

Bayview cemetery is also located right next to Whatcom Falls park which has bad vibes all of its own. Couple this with the dense woods and also that the creek there is also the site of the famous gas explosion the resulted in child death a few years back, it’s definitely not a place you want to go poking at the paranormal.
Also, don’t forget the cryptids that have been sighted in or around Bayview. This writer saw one during a late night drive past; I was a passenger and darting between the trees among the tombstones near the road was a tall, skeletal figure. When it passed through a spot where the streetlights hit it, I got a better look; ashy gray skin looked stretched over its bones. The fingers were long and spindle like and ended in claw like nails. It was naked and bald, the eyes were bead like, red, and it’s mouth was open uncommonly wide, revealing jagged teeth. I screamed at my boyfriend at that time to drive faster and get us the hell pit of the area.
Since then (this happened about 20 years back) I’ve heard other locals talk about other things they’ve seen there, from huge dogs, to bear-like creatures.
