Billy's Bar & Grill
Aberdeen, WA 98520
Billy’s Bar & Grill opened its doors in 1980 and is housed inside the Crowther-Wooding Building. Built in 1904, the building is one of the oldest in Aberdeen. The building has been home to various establishments, including a location for the Red Cross, a drug store, and multiple taverns. Although Billy’s is a family-friendly place, the name was inspired by local serial killer Billy Gohl and its reputation as a brothel in the 1950s. There’s even a bullet hole in the wall that was said to have come from an enraged madame who shot her pimp! The location is rumored to be quite haunted, although it’s uncertain who is responsible for the paranormal activity. Some of the haunting reports at Billy’s Bar & Grill include the smell of mysterious cigarette smoke, music suddenly blaring, the sound of a child laughing and running up and down the halls, and coffee cups flying off the wall.
