Hannan Playhouse
Raymond, WA 98577
In 1969 the town's Polish Hall began remodeling to become the Hannan theater. During remodeling crew members heard disembodied footsteps in the attic and noticed that props had been shifted from one side of the stage to another. Doors opened and closed, dusty footprints appeared and a strange cat disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. There have also been apparitions including a jovial caretaker, a costume designer and a man named Oscar. Oscar is believed to be the ghost of a polish immigrant who had died in the building. His ghost is a friendly character who watches over the actors.
