While I was in the restroom with my sister and her friend I had mentioned something about the spirit that may be haunting the property, and not even a moment after saying that and turning my back, the locked cabinet supply door popped open. It was ominous and strange and unexplainable. It could have just been anything but seemed like it knew I was talking about him. Haven’t had any other off experiences. My sister claims she heard dripping in the bathroom on the second floor despite no water being turned on. Still thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
Posted 3/2/26Certainly FEELS haunted...
While I don't have any concrete evidence, I'm pretty sure the place is haunted. The second floor especially. I almost always feel watched here. There's the sound of doors opening with no guests arriving, things put in odd places when I'm the only one here, etc. I don't think the ghost means any harm, though- it seems fairly malevolent apart from a vague uneasiness. Sometimes I like to offer him coffee. -an anonymous employee

Definitely feels haunted
My husband booked a room at this inn thinking it was a different hotel. We had no idea it was haunted. On arrival, the place felt incredibly creepy. The rooms were old, hallways must’ve stepped out of the Shining-old, dark carpet, dark wallpaper. One or two very dim lights to guide you to the bathroom down the hallway. I could not bring myself to walk to the bathroom by myself. I told my hubs I would not be able to make it one night in a multi night stay. We ended up just leaving and stayed at a friends house instead. I looked up whether it was haunted after the fact. Not surprised it is. Whether I’d recommend this depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for creepy, definitely 10/10.
