Bush House Country Inn
Index, WA 98256
According to legend a young woman residing in the house hanged herself after hearing of her lover's death. The story she heard turned out to be untrue, and when her lover discovered her body, he killed himself out of grief. Room 9 is believed to be the location of this double suicide. The ghost of the young woman continues to haunt this inn even while the building is closed for renovations.

Reviews
My Auntie Tina owned the Bush House during 60’s/70’s. We stayed there often, I had my own room:) and to this day still have the bed and dresser out of that room. The vibe as a child seemed to come from the third floor, was not used , that I can remember. I had so many good memories from my visits as a child, but there is a definite Aura about it.
