I have captured on video a very rhythmic knocking sound. I have been here for a few days 1727 room number… and I’ve heard some knocking ALL night… in pairs of 2s and sometimes 2s with a more subtle 2 ( 4).
Sounds like someone is trapped. I messaged the desk to see but it’s soooo odd… so odd. It’s forsure a knock. I heard it again just now

Me and my husband were staying at the Davenport in room 1112. We got up that morning to have breakfast. When I opened our door to our room. I saw a man in a Davenport suit rush out of room 1105 one of the rooms I heard Mr Davenport may have lived in. He rushed by saying hi and I thought head down a stair case behind us. What I noticed was his suit and hair style of hair did not seem to match our time frame to me. To make things even more strange when we went to dinner that night I noticed there was no stairs at the end of the hall way. So was I imagining the stairs?? I don’t know a mystery. Did we see a ghost of the young Mr Davenport it looked kind of like him maybe or was it just a worker there now. I really don’t know.but the hotel was beautiful and so grand. I loved it. We also had our tv go off a couple of times when trying to watch a show. Thought that was od too.

I rented a penthouse suite in the old building. The room was nice and we invited six couples who are friends to dress in costumes, go bar crawling, then back to our room for a night cap. All evening we heard sounds coming from the hallway outside the room. When someone poked their head out to see who was out there...not a person in sight. I loved it and will be visiting that suite again.

My cousin and I booked a room and woke up to lights flickering, TV on a scrambled channel turned up loud also window opened and some of our clothes from our bags was on the ledge outside of the window. Had no idea the hotel might be haunted until about 3am the next morning! I thought my cousin was playing a joke on me.. we were both blaming each other for the haunting.. I am a believer and scared to stay again!
