In Manresa castle, the two rooms with the highest paranormal activity are rooms 306 and 302. According to legend, in room 306 a young woman named Kate threw herself from the bedroom window after hearing of her lover's death. In her old room, lights flicker and the TV turns on and off. In room 302 resides the spirit of a monk who hanged himself in the bell tower. Guests claim to hear footsteps in the attic, especially when no one is around. In the cafe, drinking glasses have been known to shatter and turn upside down.

We stay directly u der 302, heard a loud thud each night around 230-3 am. The strong perfume smell would start being noticeable around 9 and got stronger as the evening wore on. Lots of un explained "walking" in the halls at night. We enjoyed the fountain and courtyard. The ghosts we. Around but I felt they were just saying hi. Buy I do lots of ghost hunting activities and have definately had some scary or negative presences. These guys are creepy but harmless.

  • Stayed in Room 306

This room just had an eery feeling. Besides that, the only thing we noticed was the cabinet door under the sink was wide open in the morning. And the cabinets latch pretty hard so it had to be opened with some force. I would definitely go back and stay again.

  • This is for real!

Best expierence I have ever had.. tons of evidence on my phone. I even have a picture of the monk in the window Kate jumped out of. This place is legitimately haunted and spirits seem nice and are responsive. Greatest place I've been too I'm a regular they know me by first name 13 times for me

  • Beautiful but scary!

I have stayed here 4 times because I have a niece and teen son interested in paranormal places in WA. My niece and I stayed in room 306 which is reportedly haunted by a female. Upon our arrival, we were overwhelmed by the smell of old strong perfume. The activity continued with flickering lights, the tv turning off multiple times (not at the same time that the lights flickered) and loud banging. My niece claimed to see an apparition of a female while I was in the restroom. She refused to stay after that;). We left at 0100. I did return 3 more times with my teen son and husband. We stayed in room 302. No perfume smell, but banging, strange noises, interference with electronics and batteries draining. It's a beautiful castle, just a bit haunted for me!
