Thorp cemetery is recognizable as one of the most haunted places in Washington state. Located in Kittitas county, the town of Thorp has been documented for its conflict between Native Americans and American settlers. In 1890 a Native American woman named Suzy was lynched by unknown individual(s). According to legend her spirit continues to haunt the cemetery on moonlight nights. She is often spotted riding a white horse or weeping in front of tombstones.
