The former nursing home was notorious for its criminal mistreatment of patients. The corpses of patients were stored in the basement, enabling staff to perform social security scams. The macabre history of the basement has carried through to present day, effecting the staff and patients of the behavioral health facility. Staff members have been known to refuse to enter the basement, convinced that malevolent spirits lurk in the shadows. Patients have claimed white orbs and shadowy figures appear throughout the building, contributing to the facility's haunting atmosphere.

Are they burn bodies in the basement I stayed there too but I would ever know haunting experience but I did hear that they burnt the bodies and got the insurance money. I think anything haunted horror serial killer especially strangest person I've ever met was that Travis Walton dude I got abducted by aliens in Snowflake Arizona. Gus

  • Just left this place

I noticed a weird feel when entered. After hearing haunted I thought maybe that's why I heard a Woman voice say clearly, I need a Man. Also roommate and I both heard knocking on bathroom wall. And saw shadowy figures and it being freezing cold in certain spots suddenly. Elijah

  • Good place to get sober

Had a 60 day stay. It was great. Didn’t experience anything there but I had a good treatment. Very good center.

  • i was almost killed

I heard noises coming from another room and like in horror movies I went towards it and i saw a light with a sword and a shadow with a sword is what it looked like. The light said go home but I stayed like a dumb person. The shadow screamed and I ran out and I ran into the wall and was knocked out.

  • It happened to me too...

I recently was a client there and at night time I was shaking twice on my arm and once slapped in the cheek. It was an experience for sure. This places truly haunted I didn't have a super evil or scary experience however I was phenomenally affected.

  • THEY JUST WANT TO PLAY

I had a 67 day stay at ABHS. Part of the stay was in the C wing of the building and the other portion of the stay was in the A wing which is also known as the dementia unit. My first week at ABHS I felt negative energy in the room I was staying in. I felt I was being influenced by negative energies, as well as seeing this negative energy provoke a new room mate. I started praying and meditating in the room. A sadness came over me and I felt pain from these entities. As long as I prayed to a power greater than myself and asked for them to be blessed with peace, these entities seemed to be more playful than evil. When I was moved to the other side, again I felt overcome by evil spirits and actually had evil thoughts about hurting people. I turned that negative energy on to myself and I self harmed that night. From then on out I prayed and meditated consistently and only spoke with positivity because these entities seemed to get fired up when there was negativity going on in the building. I am an empath and feel energies surrounding me at most any given time. This was the most intense paranormal experience I have felt since I was a teenager. Always a challenge..... LOVE IT!
